Invention Convention at Children’s Museum of Houston

Visitors enter the 4,000 SF Invention Convention under a sculptural “gate” of moving industrial parts, and into a lab with a variety of testing arenas. The launch cage, wind towers, test tracks, kinetic machines, and outputs and sensors all encourage children’s experimentation, invention and tinkering. The Inventor’s Workshop is a facilitated space with project tables, specialized tools, a resource area and storage for consumables. It features the robotic programs that the Museum offers.
