The first exhibit at AMNH designed expressly for children ages 5 to 15,
this 2,000 SF space introduces visitors to all the departments of the
Museum and gives them a "behind-the-scenes" look at the Museum and its
sciences.

Children hunt for hidden creatures in the two-story replica of an
African baobab tree, assemble the cast skeleton of a Prestosuchus, and
dig for fossils in a recreation of a paleontology field site. Older
children can track an earthquake anywhere in the world or search for
asteroids.
